Lastofka, Louis L. (1903-1981)

MEDFORD -- Louis L. Lastofka, 78, of Route 1, Ogema, town of Hill, died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. He had been a resident of Medford Memorial Nursing Home for a short time prior to his death.

Services were today at Dallmann-Mannel Funeral in Rib Lake and burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery in the town of Hill.

He was born March 7, 1903 on a farm in Clark County and attended Neillsville area schools. He married Lucy Ewer October 21, 1929 in Duluth, Minnesota and farmed for most of his life in the town of Hill area.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bradley (Betty) Adams of Beloit; one brother, George of Hinkley, Minnesota; two sisters, Elsie and Mabel; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was predeceased by his wife on December 2, 1976; one son, Louis and one brother.
