Thorp-American Legion (Presents City with 25 American Flags – 26 April 2013)
Washington Street, the main road down Thorp’s business district, will be looking
a bit brighter and more patriotic now thanks to a generous donation by the
American Legion Post 118. On Friday, April 26, 2013, members of the American
Legion presented the City with 25 new American flags to be hung on the posts
that line Washington Street during the 2013 Arbor Day ceremony at Veterans Park.
