Hendrickson, Marla J. (12 NOV 1952 – 30 JUL 2020)

Marla J. Hendrickson, 67, Loyal, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Per Marla’s request, a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15, at Red Door Saloon in Loyal.

Marla Jean Williams was born on Nov. 12, 1952, in Cudahy, the daughter of Earl and Doris (nee Dahl) Williams. She was raised and received her education and graduated from Oak Creek High School in 1970. After completing high school, Marla worked at AC Delco and Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee. In 1976, she moved to Loyal, where she worked at the Loyal IGA and owned Chromey’s Corner Pub. She was united in marriage to Blaine A. Hendrickson on Oct. 19, 1992, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. Marla later worked in Marshfield at Festival Foods and Pizza Hut, and retired from Nelson Jameson in 2012, after 25 years of employment. She then purchased and ran Rumours Supper Club in Loyal. She had many interests, but especially loved spending time with family and friends, riding Harleys, watching movies, and sitting on the deck enjoying the fire.

Marla will be dearly missed by her husband, Blaine, of Loyal; two daughters: Kim (Nate) Hauge of Loyal, and Kristi (Jeremy Young) Chromey of Loyal; a step-daughter: Erin (JJ) Cassie of Lehigh Acres, Fla.; two grandchildren: Brent Hauge and Abbie Leichtman; a step-grandchild: Ezra Cassie; two great-grandchildren: Kendyll and Kye Hauge; three brothers: David (Jeanie) Williams of Loyal, Keith Williams of Medford, and Kevin “Spanky” Williams of Marshfield; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Romaine Williams.
