Mr. Kirn was born in Dolnji Dol Parish of Skocjan area of Dolenjska. He came to
America in 1900. His wife, Mary Mecin, was born in Dolhji Dol. She came to
America in 1905. That same year they married in Frontenac, Kansas. Born to them
was one son.
Mr. Kirn worked in Frontenac, Kansas until 1914 when he purchased land in
Willard and with hard work developed a farm.
Their son, Martin, married Jennie Romosh. Jennie lives at Memorial Home in
Neillsville and Martin lives in Willard.
