John Luzovec Sr. was born on August 13, 1879 in Gronijce, Jugoslavia and came to America in 1901, settled in Ely, Minnesota where he worked in the ore mines. Frances Oven, his wife was born in Jugoslavia on April 3, 1883 and came to Ely, Minnesota in 1901.

On July 26, 1903 they were married. Born to them were six children. Five were born in Ely, Minnesota; John Jr., Frank, Angela, Joe and Sophia. Then the family went back to Jugoslavia in 1911, where Mary was born in Ig, Jugoslavia.

They returned again to America in October 1913 and settled in Virginia first and then Aurora, Minnesota where he worked in the ore mines. In October 1917 they moved to Willard, Wisconsin. They bought 60 acres of land from Paul Marn and later 40 acres from salesman Cesnik and Joe bought another 30 acres from John Gregorich.

John Sr. farmed until 1931 when he passed away and his son, Joe farmed this land until he sold 60 acres to Billy Lucas. Fie lived in the home until he died in May 1975. Then the home and 10 acres was sold to Robert Bogdonovich and 50 acres to John Zagozen Jr.

John Luzovec Jr. moved to Chicago in 1922 and was married there to Eula Harlow. They retired on Mead Lake in Willard in 1966.

Frank lived and worked for a while in Milwaukee, was married to Frances Romosh in 1928 and came back to live in Willard in 1930.

Angela married John Zagozen from Willard in 1942. She died in 1981. They lived in Greenwood.

Joe never married and spent his life on the family farm until he died in May 1975.

Sophia went to Chicago and married Peter Rodak in 1937.

Mary was married to Louie Novak in 1954 and lives in Owen, Wisconsin.
