Kott, Julian A. (29 OCT 1966 – 3 AUG 2020)

Julian A. Kott, 53, of Stanley, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 3, 2020, at home. Julian was born on October 29, 1966, in Eau Claire, to John and Florence (Natzke) Kott. He attended local schools and graduated from Stanley-Boyd high school. After high school, Julian went to CVTC and obtained his certification in refrigeration later certified for HVAC. He was very skilled in all things electrical.

Julian enjoyed lockmsmithing, computer games and I smoking meats. He loved music and was a DJ for a period of time. What was most important to Julian was spending time with family and friends.

Julian is survived by his mom, Florence of Stanley; his significant other, Laura Swartz of Chippewa Falls; his children: Michelle, Justin and Dustin Smasal; his grandchildren: Lukas and Layton Work; his brothers: David (Jani) of Eau Claire and James (Lucinda) of Thorp; and his nieces and nephews: Jordan (Justin), Joseph, Andrew (Andrea), Micky, Kelli (Mathew), Kristen, Johnathan, and Rebekka (Waylon); and great-nieces and nephews: Joey, Olive Ellie Ana, Ethan, Anthony, and Rae Ella. He is preceded in death by his father, John, in 2007; and his grandparents: Julius and Edna Kott and Arthur and Laura Natzke; and Uncles Clifford, Allan, and Edward Natzke.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:30 on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at St. Mary Czestochowa Catholic Church in Junction (W11694 Elm Road, Stanley) with father Baskaran Sandhiyagu officiating. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the church. Plombon Funeral Service of Stanley assisted the family.
