DeBoth, Deb (Marriage – 17 August 1996)

Deb DeBoth and Todd Schmidt were married Aug. 17 at Old St. Joseph Church at St. Norbert College, DePere, by Rev. Gary Meehan.

Parents of the bride are Edward and Nancy DeBoth of Green Bay. Parents of the groom are Doreen and Eldon Helm of Granton and Robert and Ruth Schmidt of Neillsville.

The bride given in marriage by her father and wore a white sheath dress. She carried a bouquet of freeze-dried flowers.

Maid of Honor was Niki Schmidt of San Jose, Calif. Bridesmaids were, Michelle DeBoth of Tulsa, Okla., Nicole DeBoth of Albuquerque, N.M., and Tammy Backaus of Neillsville. The bridesmaids wore royal blue sheath dresses and caried bouquets of freeze-dried flowers.

Bestman was Rob Buffington of Milwaukee. Groomsmen were Tony Schmidt of Sarasota, Fla., Tom Stone of Pewaukee, and Eric Backaus of Neillsville.

Usherettes were Laurie Buffington of Milwaukee, Ellen Evensen, Wauwatosa and Brenda Marquardt, of Kaukauna.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and reception were held at the Regency Suites in Green Bay.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of Southwest High School and a 1993 graduate of UW-Milwaukee. She is currently a student at Marquette University, Milwaukee, and works as a registered nurse at Children’s Hospital.

The groom is a 1988 graduate of Granton High School, a 1992 graduate of UW-Milwaukee and is a graphic designer for McCulloch Advertising in Waukesha.

The couple honeymooned in Ireland and currently reside in Wauwatosa.
