College Notes (Graduates – Spring Semester 2020)

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point conferred degrees on more than 1,100 graduates for the spring 2020 semester.

The graduate list, released by the university on Sept. 22, included the following local students. Students are listed by hometown, name degree, major (if listed) and honors (if listed). Honors include summa cum laude, meaning “with highest honor”; magna cum laude, meaning “with great honor”; or cum laude, meaning “with honor.”

Curtiss: Andrew Hogden, bachelor of science, math – teaching.

Granton: Alice Painter, associate of arts and sciences, summa cum laude.

Cameron Reil, bachelor of science, family and consumer sciences – child life and family, magna cum laude.

Greenwood: Adam Mueller, associate of arts and sciences, cum laude.

Brady Sorensen, associate of arts and sciences, cum laude.

Neillsville: Jaycee Butts, associate of arts and sciences, magna cum laude.

Karen King, bachelor of science in nursing, cum laude.

Jacob Kunze, bachelor of science, wildlife ecology and management.

Nolan Matson, bachelor of science, wildlife ecology and management.

Jennifer Thornton, bachelor of fine arts, art-three-dimensional.

Sayre Ystad, bachelor of science, management.

Thorp: Kelsey Roshell, bachelor of science, health science, - pre-athletic training.

Unity: Megan Schuette, bachelor of fine arts, interior architecture, summa cum laude.
