Fisk, Margaret A. (17 October 1932 – 22 May 2019)

Margaret A. Fisk, 86, of Stanley, died on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Homeplace in Stanley.

Margaret was born on October 17, 1932 at St. Joseph’s Hospital-Chippewa Falls to the late Arnold R. and Olivia M. (Schuette) Witt. She grew up in the Huron area, north of Stanley. Margaret attended Stanley Schools. On October 10, 1953 Margaret married Dale Fisk. They went on to have three daughters. The family farmed in the Town of Colburn, north of Boyd. Dale and Margaret later divorced. Margaret worked briefly at the Stanley Vet Clinic, she then worked from many years at the Stanley Corporation and finally at the Northern Center in Chippewa Falls, until her retirement. In her later years she enjoyed working at the Stanley Historical Society.

Margaret is survived by her two daughters Karen (Richard) Stewart of Sheldon and Sheila (Randall) LaRose of Cadott, seven grandchildren, Michael Fisk, Scott (Kayla) Stewart, Brian (Drynda) Stewart, Jason (Kim) LaRose, Eric (Elizabeth) LaRose , Andrea Jones, and Daryl Stewart, eight great-grandchildren; Chloe and Jaden Stewart, Brooklynn and Brinna Stewart, Cameron and Gage Stewart and Isaac and Phillip LaRose.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Sylvia Jones and a grandson Nathan Jones.

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Boyd with Pastor Raymond Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Stanley. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. on Monday at the Plombon Funeral Home and Tuesday one hour prior to service at the Church.
