One of the noteworthy improvements this week is the putting up to grade and the tearing up of the old wooden sidewalk on the west side on Main Street from the south side of the Catholic Church property to Miller Avenue.

The surveying and tearing up of the sidewalk was commenced last week, and the grading will be started this week, and when it is completed will put the west side of Main Street in a good condition and greatly improved the appearance of the street.

It is hoped that all of the property owners along the grade will put down cemetery walks instead of resorting to the old eyesore of board walk.
