Stoiber, Frank (4 May 1888 - 17 January 1983)

DORCHESTER - Frank Stoiber, 94, of Dorchester died Monday at his home.

Services will be Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Visitation will be at the Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester.

He was born May 4, 1888 in Darboy, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John (Engelberger Mader) Stoiber and received his education in Appleton. He moved to the Town of Mayville, Clark County, in 1900, farming there until 1947. Besides farming he did carpentry work and in 1947 built his own home in Dorchester, where he since resided,

He and Anna Gabriel were married May 22, 1917 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1967 and their 65th last June.

He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Cyril (Adeline) Decker of Dorchester; two sons, Alvin and Clarence, both of Dorchester; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Sophie Desl of Dorchester.

He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
