Jeske, Larry J. (8 August 1946 – 23 January2021)

Larry J. Jeske, age 74, of Colby passed away surrounded by his loving family at Marshfield Medical Center on Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Larry was born on August 8, 1946, the son of Lawrence A. and Geraldine E. (Hudson) Jeske in Colby. He graduated from Dor-Abby High School in 1964. On May 25, 1968, he was united in marriage to Kaye Miller in Cudahy.

Larry worked for the family business known as Four Corners Cheese Factory in Curtiss, hauling milk and making cheese. He then worked for Land O’ Lakes in Spencer for 37 years until his retirement. Larry loved to drive his ranger and visit with friends and family and enjoyed giving his dog Baily a ride in the ranger. Most importantly, Larry loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kaye; children: Michael (Robin) Jeske, Brian (Kim) Jeske, Mark (Heather) Jeske and Thomas Jeske; grandchildren: Conner, Brent, Derek, Andrew, Britney (Michael), Brooke, Tyler, Joshua and Emma: great-grandson: Noah. He is further survived by a sister: Linda (Lyle) Peterson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private Family Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity. The Funeral will be live streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page or after service anytime on Facebook or the website. Rev. Amy Heinz will officiate. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Colby Memorial Cemetery.
