Bumann, Florence C. (17 April 1911 - 9 February 1983)

ABBOTSFORD -- Mrs. Leo A. (Florence C.) Bumann, 71, Abbotsford, died Wednesday at her home.

Services will be Saturday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford. The Rev. Emil Hodnik and the Rev. Raymond Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford.

The former Florence C. Nagel was born April 17, 1911, in Loyal, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William (Mary Alber) Nagel. She was a 1929 graduate of Abbotsford High School. She and Leo A. Bumann were married November 3, 1937, in St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Abbotsford; he died February 25, 1977. She lived in Abbotsford all of her life and was employed at the Beil Store. For the past 15 years, she was a sales representative for Avon.

She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and its Ladies Altar Society. She was also active in the church choir, Abbotsford P.T.A., the American Foreign Student Exchange Program and in the Girls Scouts and Brownies.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Mary) Carson of Madison and Jean Brushel of Abbotsford; one sister, Mrs. Norman (Lucille) Brecke of Stevens Point; and two grandchildren,

She also was predeceased by her parents and a sister.
