Law, Etta (27 March 1893 - 4 March 1983)

NEILLSVILLE -- Mrs. John W. (Etta) Law, 89, of Neillsville Memorial Home, died Friday evening at the home.

A committal service will be Monday at the Neillsville Cemetery with the Rev. Howard Ott of Neillsville United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

The former Etta Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley (Laura Wood) Clark, was born March 27, 1893 in Atchison County, Missouri. She and John Law were married October 10, 1926 in Parkio, Missouri.

They lived in Missouri until about 1936, when they located in southern Iowa, coming to Wisconsin from Iowa in 1980. Her husband died January 11, 1981.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Carolyn) Wylie, Granton; a son, Clark Underwood, Shenandoah, Iowa; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother and a sister.
