Pickett, Jennette B. "Jennie" (7 October 1891 - 10 March 1983)

SPENCER -- Services will be Sunday at United Methodists Church for Mrs. Frank T. (Jennie) Pickett, 91, who died Thursday at Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery. She had been there the past year.

The Rev. Charles H. Strong will officiate and burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery. Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home.

The former Jennette B. "Jennie" Mulvaney was born October 7, 1891 at Knapp to Mr. and Mrs. James H. (Amanda) Mulvaney. She received her education at Wilson Grade and High schools and lived at Wilson before she and Frank T. Pickett were married December 20, 1911. They had observed their golden wedding in 1961.

After their marriage, the Picketts farmed in the Town of Brighton until his death September 10, 1962. She continued to live there until 1975, when she went to Minneapolis to reside until entering the nursing home.

Mrs. Pickett, a member of Spencer United Methodist Church, is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Isabel) Hilden of Minneapolis and Mrs. Harold (Genevieve) Krarup, Owen; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Evenson, South St. Paul, Minnesota.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her son, James, three brothers, two sisters and her parents.
