--------- Patience, Autumn (Marriage - 3 NOV 1920)

A very pleasant wedding took place on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 3, 1920, at Chippewa Falls, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Patience, when their daughter, Miss Autumn became the bride of Mr. Bert C. Spaulding of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.). Rev. Paul Turner of the Presbyterian Church of that city, read the ceremony. The contracting parties were attended by Miss Hazel Fox of Cadott, a close friend of the bride, and Mr. Andrew Patience, a brother.

Immediately following the ceremony a bounteous wedding dinner was served to the members of family. The following morning the couple left for St. Paul, where they spent several days visiting with friends.

Miss Patience, through her visits to this city, has become acquainted to a number of Owen people, and she is a young lady well-liked by all who have gained her acquaintance, and will make a valuable lady in our community.

Mr. Spaulding, who has been a resident of Owen for the past seven eyars, is manager of the Idle Hour Theatre, and the best wishes of his many friends go out to him in this new relationship.

Those from away who were present at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Spaulding of Stevens Point, and Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Murray of this city.

Mr. and Mrs. Spaulding will be at home to their friends on and after Dec. 1.
