--------- Rasmussen, Dagmar (Marriage - 21 JUN 1930)

At the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee, Clark County, Wis., Saturday evening, June 21 at 6:30 o'clock, Miss Dagmar Rasmussen of Withee, and Mr. Harold Christensen of Owen, were united in marriage. The Rev. Mikkelsen, pastor of the church, performed the ceremony. They were attended by the groom's sister, Miss Margarete Christensen, who wore a dress of pale green chiffon, and the bride's brother, Mr. Viggo Rasmussen. The bride wore an orchid lace dress and carried a bouquet of pink roses.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Rasmussen of the town of Hixon, and has been a resident there since birth. For the past few years she has taught school in Withee, and in this position won for herself a great many friends.

Mr. Christensen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Christensen, residing one and one-half miles east of Owen, and for the past two years has held a position with the postal department of the government, acting as mail carrier on rural route No. 2 out of Owen. He too has established a large friendship with the people on his route.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, to which only the immediate members of the bride's and groom's families were present. Those from out of town attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Holgar Rasmussen and family of Centuria, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Thorwald Rasmussen and son, and Miss Edna Jensen, Tyler, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Leo Smith, Kenosha and Mr. and Mrs. Ove Rasmussen of Maiden Rock.
