Oelrich, Joseph "Joe" (15 July 1940 - 29 April 1983)

SPENCER -- Joseph "Joe" Oelrich, 42, of Gillette, Wyoming, formerly of Spencer died Wednesday in Gillette.

Services will be Monday at the Dowling Funeral Home, Hamilton, Montana.

He was born July 15, 1940 in Hiawatha, Michigan, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Emma Kaulfuerst) Oelrich. He graduated from Spencer High School and served with the United States Army for four years. He was presently working in the oil fields in Gillette.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley of Gillette; two sons, Daniel and Jason, both of Hamilton; his mother, Mrs. Emma Oelrich of Route 1, Spencer; three brothers, Roy of Rhinelander; Albert of Spencer and Arthur of Unity; and five sisters, Mrs. Carl (Esther) Schoolman of Spencer, Mrs. Harry (Beatrice) Macherchok of Rhinelander, Edna and Frieda Oelrich, both of Spencer and Mrs. Clarence (Alice) Johnson of Route 4, Marshfield.

He was predeceased by his father, Fred Oelrich.
