Sebold, Lavina (10 March 1903 - 3 April 1983)

DORCHESTER -- Mrs. Max (Lavina) Sebold, 80, of Dorchester died Sunday morning at the Marshfield Convalescent Center. She had been a resident there the past seven years.

Services will be Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. The Rev. Emil Hodnik will officiate. Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Maurina Funeral Home, in Dorchester.

The former Lavina Vogt was born March 10, 1903 in Stetsonville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Matilda Dietzler) Vogt. She graduated from Medford High School and Taylor County Teachers College. She was an elementary school teacher in Clark and Taylor counties until her marriage.

She was married to Max Sebold June 14, 1945. They farmed in the Town of Mayville and he died December 3, 1974.

She was a member of st. Louis Catholic Church and is survived by a son, Greg of Dorchester; and a sister, Mrs. Pauline Henseler of Marshfield.

She was also predeceased by five sisters and two brothers.
