Miss Kathie Potocnik, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Potocnik, and David Lee Rice, son of Mrs. Wilford Rice, St. George, Utah, were united in marriage in the Masti L.D.S. Temple, Manti, Utah at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, December 18th, 1975.

For her wedding the bride appeared in a white knit full length dress with empire waistline, trimmed with lace and an attached hood. She carried a bouquet of orchids with white and yellow feathered carnations interspersed with holly.

Following the ceremony a dinner was held for the family at Orem North Stake Center, Orem, Utah.

On December 28th the newlyweds came to Owen, where a wedding dinner and dance were held for them at the Loyal Legion Hall, Loyal, Wisconsin.

The bride is a 1971 graduate of Owen-Withee High School and a university student at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. At present she is a senior student majoring in Nursing.

The groom graduated in 1966 from Biggs Union High School, Biggs, California. He completed a two-year mission for the L.D.S. Church in 1969 and is now a senior in Business at Brigham Young University.

The newlyweds will make their home in Provo, Utah until graduation, and then plan to live in Idaho.

Attending the wedding and open house in Utah from here were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Potocnik and daughter Janice, and Mrs. Henry Laube.
