Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wetzel’s son, Jay Michael, was baptized Sunday, January 25, 1976 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wistee during the morning worship service by the Rev. Douglas Groenewold. Sponsors were Mr. and Mrs. James Koskey of Loyal and Barbara Lutz of Janesville, Minnesota.

Following the service a dinner was served at the Wetzel home for relatives and friends. Attending from out of town were Mrs. Luella Gehrke, grandmother, from Waterville, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Winifred Lutz, Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. James Koskey and family of Loyal, and the Rev. and Mrs. Douglas Groenewold, Withee.
