Arndt, Nellie (8 June 1905 - 1 April 1977)

Mrs. Raymond C. (Nellie) Arndt, 71, of East Grand Rapids, Mn., died April 1 at a hospital there. The former Nellie Peabody was born June 8, 1905, at Grand Forks, ND. And graduated from Central High School and also from a business college there. Her marriage to Raymond Arndt took place November 2, 1927, at Grand Forks. The couple farmed in Minnesota and on Rt. 2 Neillsville, in the Town of Hewett, for several years. They operated the North Star Trailer Court in East Grand Forks until 1971 when they moved to Park Rapids, Mn. While there, they were caretakers of Northern Pines assemble grounds. The Arndts retired and moved to East Grand Forks in January of this year.

Survivors in addition to her husband, include one son, Raymond, Jr., and one brother, three sisters, five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Burial was in East Grand Forks on April 5.
