Horvat, Cynthia (7 May 1977)

Marriage vows were exchanged May 7 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard, by Cynthia Horvat and James Bolf. The Rev. John Heagle officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony, and the adult choir of the parish sang. The bride, was presented in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Horvat, Willard. The groom is the son of Mrs. Dorothy Bolf, Greenwood, and the late Anthony Bolf.

The bride’s white empire style gown of shimmer sheer and peau over taffeta featured venise lace trim. Lace also trimmed her fingertip veil, held by a lace headpiece. Pink roses and white carnations formed her bouquet.

Lavonne Horvat was the maid of honor and Miss Sue Bolf, Miss Marlene Bolf and Miss Camille Horvat were the bridesmaids. Their gowns styled in shades of pink, blue, green and yellow, respectively. They carried bouquets of pink roses with white carnations.

Serving as bestman was Mark Lindner. Dennis Bolf, Roger Bolf and Rudy Horvat acted as groomsmen. They were attired in blue tuxedos with blue carnation boutonnieres. Ushering duties were shared by Dennis Horvat and Bernard Bolf.

Lisa Kobylinski was the flower girl and Stephen Benzschawel, the ring bearer.

The newlyweds are both 1975 graduates of Greenwood High School. The bride does clerical work, and the groom is engaged in farming. They will live on Rt. 3 Greenwood.
