Thompson, Nan (18 June 1977)

The home of the bride’s parents at 222 Grand Ave. in Neillsville was the setting for the June 18 exchange of marriage vows between Nan Thompson and Steve Taylor Sizer, both of Eau Claire. The Rev. David Wenger of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Greenwood, officiated at the 5 p.m. ceremony for the daugher of Dick and Shirley Thompson of Neillsville and the son of Jim and Carol Sizer of Greenwood. A reception was held at Bali Hai Supper Club.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a champagne knit tunic over palazzo pants. She carried a colonial bouquet of stephanotis, yellow daisies, Sonia roses and baby’s breath.

Maid of honor Joan Rychnovsky, Eau Claire wore a peach tunic over palazzo pants and held a colonial arrangement of stephanotis and white and peach daisies with baby’s breath. The flower girl was Jennifer Ruhnau. Peter Sizer, Eau Claire, served as bestman.

Music at the wedding was by Ed and Gayle Gungor.

The newlyweds, both 1974 graduates of Greenwood High School, are living at 716 W. Grand Ave. in Eau Claire. She is employed as a legal secretary, and he attends the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
