NHS Class of 1952 (25 Year Reunion- 1977)

Seventy-six people met Saturday, July 9, at the Neillsville Country Club to observe the 25th anniversary of the Neillsville High School Class of 1952. A social hour, dinner and program were followed by an evening of dancing.

Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lauscher and Mrs. Covell. They were presented with a white rose and a class flower. Mrs. Marie Covell said grace, and Bob Kunze gave the welcome address. George Nielsen acted as master of ceremonies.

A moment of silence was observed for deceased class members, Darlene Shaw Eddy, Lillian Chadwick, Juneau, Nick Sydorowicz and Robert Wallace.

The program consisted of drawing and reading slips of paper by Jean Harder and George Nielsen with a remembrance of each one’s high school days.

The group voted to have another reunion in five years, with the committee to be the same as this year to include Bob Kunze as chairman and Virginia Thoma, Jean Chadwick, Joan Harder, Ann Schoengarth and Janice Voigt.
