Colby High School girls to attend Badger Girls State June 5-11 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are Julie Vrana, Laurie Ludwig and Karen Olund, Tom Pietrowski, Darryl Schuh and Peter Weber from Colby High School will attend Badger Boys State June 11-18 at Ripon College, Ripon. Olund is attending for Kris Esper, who is unable to attend.

Alternates are JoAnn Waldhart, Mary Feiten, Kim Schjoneman, Keith Uhlig, Kurt Apfelbeck and Brian Haines.

The American legion Auxiliary Post 266 of Colby is sponsoring Vrana; American Legion Auxiliary Post 517, Dorchester, is Ludwig's sponsor. Olund is sponsored by American Legion Auxiliary Post of Unity.

Pietrowski sponsored is American Legion Post 266, Colby; Schuh's is Lions Club of Colby and Dorchester as Dorchester has no Legion Post; and Unity's American Legion Post 358 is sponsoring Weber.
