Humbird Class of 1932 (45 Year Reunion -1977)

Forty-five years ago in May of 1932, eleven young men and women graduated from Humbird High School. On Saturday, nine members of this class met at the Lake Eau Claire Club House from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. to renew old acquaintances and to “hash over” old times. Following the “gab session” the group dined at the Black Bear Supper Club near Augusta.

Present for the gala occasion were Mr./Mrs. Adrian Sobczak of Brookfield; Mr./Mrs. Al Elmer (Ethel Trachsel), New Glarus; Mr./Mrs. Glenn Holman, Eau Claire; Miss Marie Voves, St. Paul, Mn.; Mr. Alvin Bryner, Silver Lake; and Mrs. Josephine (Bell) Kaufman, Mrs. Helen (Bell) Giloy and Mrs. Mildred (Anderson) Trachsel, all of Humbird. Coming the greatest distance were Mr./Mrs. Carl King (Doris Kvool), Boise, Id. Unable to attend were Mrs. Danford Sherman (Ann Baumgartner) of Houston, Tx., and Mrs. Ray Doan (Lilas Lubinski) of Port Huron, Mi.
