Larsen, Einar M. (10 Sep 1908 – 30 Aug 1976)

Einar M. Larsen, age 67, resident of the township of Longwood, passed away at his home on Monday, August 30, 1976, at 11:55 a.m.

Mr. Larsen, who has lived in Longwood for 41 years, was born in Ringstad, Iowa, on September 10, 1908At the age of two he moved with his parents to Askov, Minnesota. In 1936 he moved to Longwood, where he farmed and hauled milk for the Longwood Cheese Factory. From 1956 to 1963 he worked inside the factory, making cheese.

Mr. Larsen is mourned in death by his wife, Inga (Rasmussen), who he married on May 12, 1935, and by his children, son, Kenneth, who lives in Wausau, and three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sylvia) Timmler, Mrs. Allen (Mary) Fravert, Mrs. George (Gladys) Zuehlke.

The deceased is also mourned by five sisters, Mrs. Ingeman (Peggie) Clausen, Minneapolis, Mrs. William (Thora) Roney Minneapolis, Mrs. Arnold (Martha) Hede, Minneapolis, Mrs. Harry (Sigrid) Johnson, Hinckley, Minnesota, Mrs. Hugo (Harriet) Teras, Duluth, Minnesota, and two living brothers, henry and Gjorup Larsen, Tyler, Minnesota, and eight grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

The funeral will be held at the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, on September 2, 1976, with burial following at 1:30. The Rev. Lloyd Yaggie will officiate.

Friends of the deceased may call at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.
