Miller, Bruce M. (16 December 1946 - 21 December 1977)

A 31-year-old native of the Neillsville area died at his rural Hebron, Indiana, home on December 21.

Born on December 16, 1946, and educated in the Neillsville area, Miller graduated from Neillsville High School in 1966. He worked for several years in the Green Bay area, then moved to Indiana where he worked in a steel mill until his death. On December 10, 1967, he married Norma Jones in Neillsville.

He is survived by his wife, Norma, two children, Sheila and Scott, both at home, and his parents, Albert R. (Pete) and Mildred (King) Miller, Neillsville. Joining them as survivors are his brothers and sisters, Mrs. John (Delores) Genteman, Marshfield; Donald, Neillsville; Albert, Jr., Cincinnati, Ohio; Duane, Marshfield; Mrs. Walter (Barbara) Oldham, Mrs. Jesse (Patricia) Hagen, Mrs. Lewis (Judy) Grap, and Mrs. Kasimer (Sandra) Kolano, all of Neillsville.

Services for Bruce M. Miller were held Saturday, December 24, from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. The Rev. William Noble of the Neillsville United Methodist Church officiated at the services, and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Miller, Bruce M. (16 December 1946 – 21 December 1977)

Mrs. Dora Noble sang “God Of Our Life” and “Children Of The Heavenly Father,” accompanied by Mrs. Iris Musil, for the funeral services for Bruce M. Miller, 31, an Indiana resident and former Neillsville citizen who died December 21, in the December 24 services from the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. William Noble of the Neillsville United Methodist Church. Pallbearers included Dennis Oldham, Kevin Brugger, Ricky Hagen, David Genteman, Jim Miller and Keith Miller.

From out of town attending were Mr./Mrs. Albert Miller, Jr., and family, Cincinnati, Oh.; Mr./Mrs. Richard Zank and family, Red Wing, Mn.; Mr./Mrs. John Genteman and family and Mr./Mrs. Duane Miller and Jim, all of Marshfield. Snow storms on December 24 hampered many other mourners from attending.
