Frane, Mr./Mrs. Howard (Silver – 27 Dec 1976)

A surprise party was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Frane’s 25th wedding anniversary, September 18, 1976 at the VFW Club House at Colby.

The party was hosted by the couple’s three children, Tom, Wausau, David, Athens, and Barbara (Mrs. Ron Maldonis).

The honored couple wore corsages of red roses and white carnations. The Franes were married on December 27, 1951, at Owen.

Relatives and friends danced from 8 to 1:30, with music by the Augustines. The couple has three children and one grandchild. The hall was decorated with silver and white streamers and bells.

Dinner guests at the Howard Frane home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Frane and son, Wuasua, Mr. and Mrs. David Frane, Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Maldonis, Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Eino Walkama, Curtiss, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Williams, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Vadnais, Fond du Lac., Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kallep, Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frane, Ruth Apfelbeck and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Schnyder, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Frane and Julie, all of Mayville; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Flick and family, Horicon, and Wayne Kuuntz and sons, Green Bay.
