Dickinson, Levi A. (23 Mar 1906 – 27 Dec 1976)

Levi A. Dickinson, age 70, of Owen, passed away on December 27, 1976 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 1976 at 1:30 p.m. at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home in Owen, with the Rev. Loren Swanson officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery near Withee.

The body of the deceased will lie in state after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29.

Mr. Dickinson was born on March 23, 1906 in Durand, Wisconsin. He attended school in Withee and moved to the Township of Hixon in 1922.

He married Hilda Elizabeth Blazer on September 28, 1928, in Withee. They farmed in Hixon until 1971, when they moved to Owen. Mr. Dickinson also worked on the Township of Hixon patrol on town roads.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Owen.

The deceased is survived by his widow; three daughters: Miss Bonnie Dickinson of Owen, Miss Darlene Dickinson of Wausau, Mrs. Robin (Arlene) Taylor of Oak Grove, Ill.; one son, Lyle Dickinson of Dousman. Also surviving is one sister, Mrs. Ida Mae Stone of Owen.

Surviving are also four grandchildren.

Mr. Dickinson was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
