Busse, Alvina C. (21 Mar 1879 – 12 Jan 1972)

Mrs. Alvina Clara Busse, 92, died Wednesday, January 12, 1972 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

The funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford, with Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiating. The body will lie in state at the Polnaszek Funeral Home beginning Friday noon, until Saturday noon, and at the church until time of service.

Born Alvina Zeimerin, West Bloomfield, Waushara County, March 21, 1879, she was married to Gustav Busse at Reedsville in 1899. They moved to this area shortly after their marriage and farmed until 1946. He husband preceded her in death in 1953.

Mrs. Busse was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid of that church.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Otto (Freda) Seehafter, Marshfield; two sons, Albert and John of Abbotsford; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Schmidt, Oshkosh; 14 grandchildren and 45 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

A son and two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
