Iwaszczenko, John (29 September 1904 - 10 June 1982)

NEILLSVILLE - Funeral services will be Monday at the Gesche Funeral Home for John Iwaszczenko, 77, of Route I, Neillsville, who was dead on arrival at Neillsville Memorial Hospital Thursday afternoon.

The Rev. Chris Paulson will officiate and burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery.

He was born September 29, 1904 in Kalisch, Poland, and was educated and farmed there for several years before moving to the United States in 1950. He settles in Chicago and worked three years before moving to a farm in the Town of Grant, Clark County, in 1953.

He married Augustina Kirsch September 25, 1931 in Poland. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Mrs. Theadore (Lucy) Korluck of Berwyn, Illinois, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Forcash of Cicero, Illinois, Mrs. Chris (Olga) Mallory of Neillsville, Victor Taylor of McHenry, Illinois, John Iwaszczenko of Edgar and Vladimar Scenko of Lombard, Illinois; and 16 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Iwaszczenko.
