Fleege, Drucilla (22 Jan 1972)

St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford, was the setting for the 5:30 candlelight wedding Saturday, January 22, 1972 of Miss Drucilla Fleege and Melvin Peters, with the Rev. Emil Hodnik officiating.

A buffet supper honoring the couple was held in the church dining hall. A reception followed at the City Hall in Abbotsford.

Mr. and Mrs. Dalton A. Fleege, 523 W. Butternut, Abbotsford, are the bride’s parents. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Peters, Shawano.

Mrs. Edwin Bishop III, Tallahassee, Florida, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Gary Riesenberg, Milwaukee, actied as best man. Other attendants were Mrs. Tom Marquardt, Green Bay, Miss Joann Wertenberg, East Troy, Miss Jeanne Meier, Milwaukee; Rick Peterman, Shawano, Drake Fleege, La Crosse, and Tom Riesenberg, Milwaukee.

Mike Dillenberg and Paul Szymaczk, both of Milwaukee, were ushers.

Mrs. Peters graduated from Newman Catholic High School, Wausau, and Prospect Hall, Milwaukee. The bridegroom is a graduate of Shawano High School and Milwaukee Technical College.

Returning from a two week honeymoon in Florida, the Peters are at home in Milwaukee, where she is an executive secretary for the Miller High Life Company, and he is an electrical draftsman for the Vilter Manufacturing Company.
