Larry Westberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Westberg of Colby, was designated a
naval aviator at the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas. His wings were
pinned on by his wife Carol. Ensign Westberg has recently been promoted to the
rank of Lt. JG. He is currently attending school at NAS North Island, San Diego,
California. Lt. JG Westberg will soon take up duties with VRC in the
Philippines.
Carol is finishing college at Superior and will join him in the Philippines
after graduation this spring.
