Chadwick Family (Service Notes - 1979)

It is a Navy family, which bothers dad who is an Air Force Veteran. The children and close relation of Carol and Jim Chadwick, 1400 Bruley Street, Neillsville, appear to have an affinity for life on the sea. Barbara Chadwick, recently graduated from recruit training in Orlando, Florida, and will be stationed for another seven weeks in Meridian, Mississippi, for store keepers’ school. On her way, she stopped in the Norfolk, Virginia, area to visit her two brothers, a sister-in-law and a cousin, all in the U.S. Navy.

Marx is a hydraulic mechanic. Also, present were Jim and Cheryl, who are both with the Navy, Jim is an aviation structural mechanic, his wife is an aviation machinist’s mate, and both have been honored as “sailors of the month for their unit. Also, in the Norfolk area is David Lewis, who is a first cousin to the Chadwick’s and who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Darol Lewis, Rt. 1 Neillsville. David is a fire control and ejection seat mechanic.
