Marty, Pam (1 April 1978)

Pam Marty, Black River Falls, and Rick Dimmitt, Humbird, were married April 1 in a 3:00 p.m. ceremony conducted at Fairview Catholic Church near Humbird. The Rev. David A Ziegelmaier officiated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Smith, Neillsville, and George Dimmitt, Humbird, and the late Mrs. Dimmitt.

The bride wore a long gown of ivory and ivory lace with ivory hat and carried a bouquet of long stemmed orange and ivory roses.

Sally Smith served as maid of honor and Nancy Flynn, Dianna Smith and Pattie Fitzmaurice were bridesmaids. They wore gowns of ivory, brown-sheen floral overlay with capes and carried bouquets of orange roses with baby’s breath. Love Marty, wearing a long ivory dress, was the flowergirl.

Charles Comstock served as bestman with Bill Dimmitt, Kile Loomis, Mike Smith and Mark Smith, groomsmen. Jim Fynn and David Bates seated the guests.

Kerrie Mazlowski was the soloist and sang “Evergreen,” “Take Our Bread” and Wedding Song” accompanied by Pam Selz on the organ. A reception followed the ceremony in the church parlors.

The couple will reside at 304 Town Creek Road in Black River Falls.
