Kramer, Judith (29 Apr 1972)

The Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford was the scene of the wedding of Miss Judith Kramer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kramer of Abbotsford, and Floyd Olson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Olson of Athens. The Rev. Kenneth Loehrke officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, April 29, 1972.

Soloist Vicky Nixdorf sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and “The Wedding Song,” accompanied by Jill Bremer, organist.

The bride’s full length bouffant gown was fashioned of Chantilly lace and had long sleeves. A pearl crown held the nylon elbow length veil in place.

Mrs. Alan Schmidt of Waunakee served her sister as matron o honor, and bridesmaids were Mrs. Nyle Rodman, Athens, the groom’s sister, and friends, Mrs. Steve Jepson, Marshfield and Miss Donna Olson, Spencer.

The attendants were attired in lavender dotted Swiss gowns with high necklines and empire waists with long full sleeves trimmed with white Venice lace. The headpieces were made of lavender petal flowers. They carried bouquets of white and lavender gardenias.

Alan Schmidt, Waunakee, was the best man, and serving as groomsmen were Dennis Nurenburger, Medford; Steve Jepson, Marshfield, and LeRoy Vellman of Colby.

A reception, dinner and dance were held at the Memorial Hall in Dorchester.

The bride is a 1969 graduate of Abbotsford High School, and is employed by the Marathon Cheese Company, Medford.

The bridegroom is a 1967 graduate of Abbotsford High School and is a truck driver.

The couple is making their home at 219 B North 7th St., Medford.
