Jansen, Robin (15 Jul 1972)

A reception was held Saturday evening at the Abbotsford City Hall in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Kattre, who were married July 15, 1972 in a 2 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. Hinkelman at the United Methodist Church at Delavan.

The bride is the former Robin Jansen of Delavan, daughter of Mrs. Harold Jansen, Delavan, and the bridegroom, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Kattre of Abbotsford.

The bride, who was escorted to the altar by her brother, Russell Jansen, wore a Victorian style silk pique gown with short puffed sleeves and an attached train. A white picture hat with streamers completed her attire and ash carried a colonial bouquet of white daisies and yellow roses.

Mrs. Karen Welch served her sister as matron of honor, and Miss Linda Harvey, Delavan, Miss Janis Hinkelman, Racine, and Miss Melody Weber, Delavan, were the bridesmaids.

The bridal attendants wore long yellow floral print gowns and carried baskets of yellow and white daisies.

The bridegroom’s father, Gilbert Kattre, served his son as best man, and groomsmen were Rodney Kattre, Harold Kalepp Jr., and Dave Hawks. Ushers were Gil Kattre and Rich Hinkelman.

For her daughter’s wedding the bride’s mother wore a beige street length dress. Her corsage was of yellow roses.

The bridegroom’s mother wore a pink street length dress, which was complemented with a pink rose corsage.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Eau Claire University, and he is an assistant director for an insurance company.

They are making their home in Eau Claire.
