“Inadequate housing” was the reason given by Alan Peters, newly hired principal
at Abbotsford High School in tendering his resignation over the weekend.
Superintendent of School, Harold Mills, state arrangements had been made for
Peters and his family to move into a mobile home at Abbotsford. In a telephone
conversation with Mills, and in his resignation, Peters said his wife would not
live in a mobile home.
Mills, a former principal with 25 years’ experience, will serve a principal, in
addition ot his present duties until the vacated position can be filled.
