The Colby High School Class of 1947 held their twenty-five year reunion Saturday evening, August 5, 1972 at Redwood Club, Unity.

A dinner party and dancing were attended by seventeen class members and their spouses.

Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Baumgartner (Dorothy Young), Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Tesmer, Richardson, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Vilas Thede (Verna Syring), Colby; Peter Steinwand, Tomahawk; Mr. and Mrs. Jim Piazza (Betty Stoltzman), Bellevue, Wash.

Mr. and Mrs. David Knaup (Jeannette Sixel), Brookfield, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Boss (Elaine Schulz), Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Nelson (Lucille Baumgartner), De Kalb;

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Miessner, Mancelona, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Klaar, Racine; Adrian Gries, Alesandria; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barr (Lennice Frome), Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Firnstahl, Colby;

Paul Firnstahl served as Master of Ceremonies. Prizes were awarded to the first reservation and the three traveling the fathers and to many other prize winners.

A booklet with a synopsis of each class member was given to those attending.
