Sturtz, Sherri (8 September 1978)

Sherri Sturtz and Andre Kliczak, both of Green Bay, were married in a 5:00 p.m. nuptial mass, Friday, September 8, in Green Bay’s St. Agnes Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Richard Maufort, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hoard Sturtz II, Neillsville, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Zenon Kliczak, Fraser, Mi.

The parents of the bride presented her to the priest and her new husband, as Daniel Riley offered vocal and guitar music for the wedding.

The bride chose to wear her sister, Susan’s wedding gown, of ivory chiffon styled with a chapel train. Accenting the high neckline bodice was a circular, two-tiered capelet gathering at one shoulder. Complimenting the gown was a matching chiffon picture hat, trimmed with fabric, flowers and streamers.

The new Mrs. Kliczak chose a cascading bouquet of white orchids, stephanotis, spring rye and leather leaf.

Serving as matron of honor was Susan Reusser, Rochester, Mn., who was joined by Candyce Sturtz-Karlen, Milwaukee, and Judi Sturtz, Madison, all sisters of the bride. They were attired in floor length Daphne Quiana gowns in mauve rose, featuring matching capelets tied at the shoulder, accented by colonial bouquets of pink roses, lavender poms and baby’s breath.

Gregory Jesiel, Fraser, Mi., served as bestman. He was joined by James Pytleski, St. Charles, Mo., and David Schoenherr, Detroit, Mi. Ushering were Robert Kijewski and Gary Rozmarynoski, of Green Bay.

A wedding-buffet was held at the Carlton-West, Green Bay, which was followed by the bridal couple and wedding guests attending a cocktail show featuring Dionne Warwick in an adjoining dinner theatre.

The bride is a dental hygienist for Dental Arts Associates of Green Bay and the groom is a district manager for the Polaroid Corporation. After a wedding trip to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple will reside at 2645 Valiant Lane in Green Bay.
