Stacy, Alvin (13 March 1905 – 8 September 1978)

Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 10, at 3:00 p.m. for Alvin Stacy, Rt. 1 Willard, who passed away two days earlier at the Neillsville Memorial Home.

Stacy, 73, an American Indian, was born March 13, 1905, to John and Martha Lowe Stacy in Jackson County.

Left as survivors were two sisters, Mrs. Helen Stephens of Minneapolis, Mn., and Mrs. Ervin (Tillie) Buker of Willard; and one brother, John, Willard. Preceding him in death were three brothers and three sisters.

The Winnebago United Church of Christ, rural Black River Falls, served as the funeral site with the Rev. James Selmser officiating. Burial was made in the Mission Cemetery.
