Graff, Nancy J. (15 Sep 1972)

Miss Nancy J. Graff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Graff of Stetsonville, became the bride of Robert M. Light, Dorchester, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Light, Stetsonville, at a 7 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rev. Gerald Schuh at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester on Saturday, September 15, 1972.

The bride appeared wearing a gown of white Chantilly lace featuring silhouette high collard and Gibson Girl sleeves. Her long veil wedged with Chantilly lace was held in place by a Camelot headpiece. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white pompom daisies.

Attending the bride were her sisters, Miss Mary Graff, Wausau, maid of honor, and Miss Joanne Graff, Marshfield, bridesmaid. Their Victorian gowns had bodices of ivory Nottingham lace with leg mutton
Sleeves. The full skirts were of blue chiffon over taffeta with velvet ribbons accenting the waists. They carried bouquets of yellow and white pompom daisies.

Serving his brother as best man was Michael Light, Dorchester, and groomsman was Kenneth Hinke, also of Dorchester. Edward Graff and Daniel Graff, the bride’s brothers, escorted the guests to their seats.

The reception, buffet luncheon and dance were held at Schlais Hall at Gad.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Light are both 1969 graduates of Colby High School. Mrs. Light is employed at the Medo-Farm Restaurant in Abbotsford, and her husband at Meyers Manufacturing in Dorchester.
