On Wednesday, May 2, 1973, a performance for the high school drama department’s
production of “One Mad Night” was given in the Thorp High multi-purpose room.
The play is under the direction of Miss Arlene Czerwinski. There will be another
performance at 8:00 p.m. this Sunday night, May 6.
The plot centers around Don Carter, an alleged playwright, who decides to spend
some time at a supposedly haunted house, but when he arrives, finds it occupied
with an assortment of mental cases. Lucille, an attractive heiress, claims she
is being framed by her guardian, who had her judged insane. The situation is
further complicated by the arrival of Don’s fiancé and her mother, as well as
Lucille’s guardian. The entire scene all takes place in “One Mad Night.”
The cast includes Bill Wagener, Scott Zoromski, Tim Ahles, Sue Briski, Jim
Gulcynski, Neil Lipinski, Jo Ann Frinack, Keta Paulson, Arlene Wojt, Joyce Pajak,
and Diane Holmes.
