Jacob, Alvin E. (21 November 1898 – 15 May 1979)
Funeral services were held for Alvin E. Jacob, 80, on May 18, who passed away on
May 15, from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville with the Rev.
Norman W. Lindloff officiating.
“Let Us Ever Walk With Jesus” and “Jesus Lead Thou On” were offered as musical
selections by St. John’s School Choir, accompanied by Paul Tess.
Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. The Gesche Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements. Serving as pallbearers were Bernard Urban, Lawrence
Bohnsack, Julius Hagedorn, Steve Tichy, Fred Wall and William Hoffman.
