Madonna C. Walczyk and James R. Timm, both of Wisconsin Dells, were married Saturday, May 19, 1973 at 1:00 p.m. The vows were performed by Father Bernard J. Pickarts at St. Cecelia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Walczyk, Thorp, Wisconsin, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Timm, Wisconsin Dells.

The bride wore a floor length white lace dress. The slightly flared skirt was accented with pink pearls and a wide pink satin waistband. Her shoulder length veil of fine netting edged with floral lace, was secured to a single white rose. She carried a bouquet of red roses and pink carnations, sprinkled with baby’s breath.

A friend, Cindy Slifer, Baraboo, attended the bride, wearing a floor length crepe gown. About her shoulders draped a white shawl edged in pink. She wore a bouquet of red roses and pink carnations.

A brother, William Timm, attended the groom.

A reception and dance were held for 200 at Paloha Rida Resort, Wisconsin Dells. The three tier wedding cake was cut by Mrs. Ann Chaplinski and Mrs. Katherine Hall. The groom’s cake was cut by Mrs. Louis Revvy and Mrs. Shirley Timm. Kathy and Theresa Walczyk attended the guest book. Mrs. Kay Laas and Mrs. Dorothy Timm opened the gifts. Mrs. Mary Hall served the punch.

Following a trip to the Southwestern States, the newlyweds will reside at Cark’s Trailer Court, Wisconsin Dells.
