Lindow, Brenda Sue (23 June 1979)

Brenda Sue Lindow and Daniel Lee Schnabel were united in marriage during June 23 afternoon services at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville. The Rev. Norman Lindloff officiated.

Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Lindow, Neillsville, are parents of the bride and Mr. and Mrs. Russel Schnabel, of Neillsville, are the groom’s parents. The bride’s parents gave her away at the beginning of the service. Music was provided by Paul and Beth Tess.

Chosen as matron of honor was Mrs. Dale Walz of Granton, who was joined in the party by Lorie Schmidt and Mrs. Bruce Eskildsen, both of Neillsville, and Mrs. Mark Gaier, Chippewa Falls. Flower girls were Rebecca Lipscy and Dawn Hoffman.

Serving as bestman was Scott Becker, who was joined on the groom’s side by Larry Kosmosky, Peter Langreck and Rick Fitzmaurice, all of Neillsville. Ushering were Mark Gaier and Richard Hoffman, and Jacob Lipscy was the ring bearer.

The bride chose a floor-length gown of silk organza, trimmed with rose point lace and featuring a Queen Anne’s neckline, bishop sleeves and a ruffled flounce-edged skirt sweeping to a chapel train. Matching lace edged her finger-tip veil. She carried a bouquet of pink roses, surrounded by carnations in a rainbow of colors and baby’s breath. The bride’s attendants were attired in gowns of silk organza in a rainbow of colors with matching ruffle-edged capes.

The new Mrs. Schnabel is a 1976 graduate of Neillsville High School and is a medical assistant in the Neillsville Clinic. The groom is also a 1976 graduate from the same school and is a carpenter for Brich Builders, Inc. of Willard. The couple has chosen a Rt. 2 Neillsville home.
