Dering, Verna (Ecke) (28 AUG 1911* – 18 MAR 1999)

Verna Dering

Verna Dering, 87, formerly of Spencer, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at St; Joseph’s Hospital. Marshfield.

Verna worked at Land O’ Lakes in Spencer until her retirement in 1976.

Survivors include one grandson, Chris Dering; a great-granddaughter, Saffrin Dering; and one brother, Harland (Jenny) Ecke, Spencer.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Spencer. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home, Spencer, and from Saturday until the time of services at the church.
