Hediger, Loleta Ruth (25 August 1979)

Loleta Ruth Hediger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hediger, Jr., Christie, and William Carl Montgomery, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Montgomery, Granton, were united in marriage in the early afternoon of Saturday, August 25. The Rev. Wolfgang Koehler of Monroe officiated at the Neillsville United Church of Christ services with the parents of the bride presenting her to the altar.

Serving as matron of honor was Colleen Kurth. She was joined by Lucretia Hediger, a sister of the bride from Sheboygan, Lori Anding, Cindy Carstensen, Sue Bauer, Teresa Bleecker and Terry Geldernick.

Serving as bestman was Randy Barth of Granton. He was joined by Bill Schwantes and Jerry Marg, both of Granton; Rick Friedmann, Jerry Martin and Jerry Kampin, all of Chili, and Randy Domine, Loyal. Ushering were Gus Schneider, Robert Poeppel and Wayne Voss.

Junior bridesmaid was Heidi Hediger and junior groomsman was Crispin Hediger, brother and sister of the bride, while the mini groom was Charles Poeppel.

Music at the service include the selections “If” and “The Wedding Song.”

A reception in the church basement followed the service. The groom is a 1974 graduate of Granton High School while the bride is a 1979 graduate of Neillsville High School.
